The hornet speed car measures 9.75" x 5.25" x 3.75”. The originals reached incredible velocities using small one-cylinder engines. Noisy, but fun. Grown boys’ toys of the 1940s and 50s. It has a hand cast airplane aluminum body, solid cast aluminum wheel hubs & rolling wheels with rubber tires. Toy racers of the past were made with fixed wheels, as they only ran on straight or circular tracks. It has a detailed dash with a black anodized steering wheel. It has a faux leather racing seat.
