The limited-edition Pilot is steeped in a history that goes back more than 110 years to the original Mariner. You'll feel the nautical timekeeping heritage every time you gaze at this handcrafted piece. Like the original Mariner and our patented Ship's Bell, the Pilot clock wheel design features the seafarer watch chime code. At four, eight and twelve o'clock, you'll hear eight rich chimes to signify the watch shift is over. Between these times, you get one chime at the first half hour and an added chime for each half hour thereafter, counting back up to eight. This is powered by our classic eleven-jewel mechanical movement with a total of 364 brass parts precisely made and assembled by master clockmakers. Surrounding the internal mechanisms is one of the most visually splendid marine wall clocks ever seen. A ten-spoke yacht wheel case is made of solid forged brass with a lacquer finish and copper-bronze ring. The six-inch dial is hand-silvered with black Arabic numerals and hands.
